However, we have a fairly nice bathroom. Out of all the bathroom suites I saw when looking for a home when we moved to the area, I liked the layout of our master bath with its large tub. The only thing it didn't come was a door. You have to lock the bedroom door, which means no one can be in my room. Needless to say, all that's keeping me from losing weight is the lack of privacy. (Don't you wish it was that easy?)
But it gets even more complicated. My husband does not like the shower next to the tub and would like to redo the whole bathroom suite. He's talked about installing a walk-in shower and putting tile down.
I wish we had the room to do what my friend Karen did - it's one of the best bathroom suites I've seen in a non-mansion. She not only had her whole bathroom retiled, she put in a gorgeous new pedestal sink, a large tub, but one of those walk in showers (no curtain or door) with the large shower head. (I think they're called something like Amazon rain.) It was almost as good as Joan Crawford's bathroom with the multiple shower heads and jets in the "Mommy Dearest" movie.
Ah to have a fancy bathroom suite. While all those fancy showers and bathtubs sound wonderful, I'd just like one where the grout isn't stained with mold and isn't scratched up by the kids.
It sounds like a big project. A big stressful project. Makes me want to raid the kitchen cupboards for some chocolate. So, I guess having a place to take a nice bath will make be gain weight. Sometimes I think this whole weight loss journey is too complicated.
